THE SERIES
This is the Young Adult/Science Fiction series Jeremy S. Pratte is currently working on. The first book, "FIVE," was launched on November 1, 2023. The main five human characters in the first book, as described on the homepage, participate in a galactic contest against other teams of aliens to save Earth. It's been called "An excellent YA sci-fi novel with great character development, a believable cast of diverse backgrounds, surprising and unexpected twists and turns, a suspenseful plot, and a good overall message."
The second book, "FIVE: Quest for the Loovestones" was published in March, 2024. The FIVE are back for another scifi adventure. Seeking the lost Loovestones, the legendary quintet from the first book return for a thrill ride that will take them to the edges of the Galactic Union while they match wits with a cunning and dangerous new villain who wants the stones for herself. It's been called a "Perfect sequel! Great follow up to the first book!!!""
Book three, "FIVE: The Hell Trials" was launched in June, 2024. It is the "dark" installment in the series, as adventerous Team Earth are kidnapped by malevolent aliens and put through a twisted version of the Contest, almost quite literally put through hell on a mysterious, cold, dark, alien planet.
And the fourth book, "The Other FIVE" was published in November 2024. In a more light hearted installment, another alternate Team Earth arrives through a dimensional gateway, come to the Arkenstar station, and bring havoc and shenanigans with them!
The fifth and epic finale to the series, "FIVE: Invasion of the Ancients" was launched in May, 2025! As Team Earth looks forward to a rare moment of celebration, a shadow spreads across the galaxy! One by one, people are changing, their minds clouded by a mysterious affliction. No one knows where it came from or how to stop it, and soon, even trusted allies can be trusted no more! But an even greater danger looms: the return of an ancient, all-powerful race with the ability to destroy everything!
